British Airways is having a Black Friday sale. You can fly from the US to Europe in Business Class for around $1,500 pp and up if you are booking two travelers together.

The important stuff to make this work:

  • You must select two passengers and business class travel on the ba.com website.
  • You must login via an AARP account which will deduct $400 off the sale fares per person. If you aren’t familiar with using AARP on ba.com for this discount on business class fares, TPG has a great primer here.
  • The fares are good on OneWorld carriers as well. I’m seeing the discounts applied on BA/AA/Iberia/Aer Lingus, etc on ba.com
  • Play around with destinations you are interested in from your home destination. Fares vary by departure city with NYC seeming to be least expensive but other cities are close in price.  I also recommend Google Flights as a good quick search tool.
  • From ba.com: *Prices r/t pp based on purchase of 2 adult business class tickets w/ identical itineraries and include taxes, fees and carrier charges for travel Dec 10, 2016- Jan 14, 2017 & Jun 20-Aug 29, 2017. Subject to availability. Other departure and destination cities available. Terms apply.

Here’s a sample fare I pulled up:
