Chase is at it again, heavily promoting their Chase Pay service.  Chase Pay works like other major digital wallets, wherein you create a Chase Pay account, link your Chase cards, and then pay using a Chase Pay button at checkout.

There’s currently an offer for 2-for-1 movie tickets via Atom Tickets which, by the way, appears stackable with the T-Mobile Tuesdays $5 movie ticket offer this week. You need to checkout via Chase Pay.

Now, similar to the offer a few months ago where they were bonusing you at 10x Ultimate Rewards for using your Chase card at Walmart (but different in that you need “Chase Pay” this time), you can get 10x total Ultimate Rewards points by using your Chase Sapphire or Chase Freedom card at Walmart (up to $325 in total purchases by Dec 14th) and 10x Ultimate Rewards at BestBuy (in-store only) on up to $400 until Dec 24th, 2017.

One REALLY important note: The 10x points is total, no matter what, with regards to your card earnings meaning that if you use a Freedom card at Walmart (which is earning 5% anyway this quarter at Walmart) you would get only 5 bonus points. A Freedom Unlimited normally earns 1.5x so 8.5x would be the bonus. And on the cards that normally earn one point per dollar, you’d get 9 bonus points per dollar.

Another REALLy important note: The BestBuy deal requires you to be in-store using your Chase Pay app (download before going to the store!) at the checkout line.  For Walmart you can buy at Walmart.com or in-store as long as you check out with Chase Pay. So, online you could just select Chase Pay at checkout on their website.

I love these deals. If you have a Reserve card, this is like getting 15% minimum cash back.
