Looking to go to Asia? There are some extremely cheap fares out there right now as you can see below.

What makes it in many ways better than all the fare sales we’ve seen lately is that these aren’t on Low Cost Carriers like WOW.

Do your search at Google Flights for ease of use.

But the best part for someone like me that would never make this trip in coach is that there are even upgrade eligible fares on non-stops.

Look at this itinerary I just put together on United.com

Because I don’t have United upgrade instruments, it’s giving me the miles and upgrade copay, but the upgrade applies on this $533 round trip fare and if I had two SWU instruments, I could fly this in business for $533 and two SWUs.

That said, even if I had to pay the upgrade fees and use 60,000 miles, it’s not a bad price for business class from NYC to Asia and you’d also earn 16,000 Elite qualifying miles. (PQM).

If you are flying from the West Coast, check out this fare on Delta to HKG (one stop though).

Too bad it’s as difficult as it is to upgrade to business on Delta, though.

American has a non-stop LAX-HKG for $533 as well.  I found flights with upgrade space available (obviously subject to change any time) Nov 30 – Dec 13.  Expert Flyer shows 5 upgrades available outbound and 3 inbound.

If only I was booking travel to Asia right now 🙁
