Though the new Hilton Ascend card will launch early next year, Amex is doing one last push on the Surpass card (which is essentially the same as what the Ascend will be). People disagree on if you will be able to get the bonus for this card and then again for Ascend. My speculation is yes – since a new card name will mean a new card SKU which has always been the determinant for the once-per-lifetime bonus rule. I may be wrong, however.  There is a $75 annual fee (not waived) that will rise to $95 next year.

JetBlue also seems to have a new bonus offer of 60,000 JetBlue points (worth over $800 on JetBlue) on the JetBlue Plus card. There is a $99 annual fee (not waived).  The card is issued by BarclayCard and here’s a direct link (non-affiliate) to that offer as well.  (NOTE: BarclayCard has notified me that this offer is no longer valid. Use your best judgment if the link is still working.)

Lastly, a reminder that some people are getting targeted by Amex for a 100,000 Membership Rewards points bonus on the Platinum card via CardMatch.
