alaska friends and family promo code

Alaska Airlines is offering a “friends and family” discount and, today, we’re all friends!

The promotion was disseminated to all of the internal Alaska Airlines departments, each of which is sharing their own code.

Alaska Airlines Friends and Family Promotion – 30% Off

Using one of these promo codes will get you 30% off any base fare (excluding taxes) from Basic Economy to First Class.

You’ll need to book by December 19th and travel between January 5th (one day before their middle seat blocking is scheduled to end) and August 31st, 2021.

There don’t seem to be any blocked dates or other restrictions. One way or round trip both work.

American Airlines Credit CardWith a new Citi / AAdvantage Platinum Select World Elite Mastercard you'll get 50,000 AAdvantage miles when you spend $2,500 in your first 3 months. The Promo Codes

So far, I’ve seen these codes:

  • FLYWITHME (Flight Attendants)
  • WHEELSUP (Pilots)
  • MEATBALL
  • TAKEMEAWAY
  • WHEELSUP
  • BOOKNOW

Really, they are all the same from our perspective, so just pick one and book directly at Alaska Airlines’ website 🙂

New to all of this? My “introduction to miles and points” book, MilesTalk: Live Your Wildest Travel Dreams Using Miles and Points is available on Amazon and at major booksellers.

I got "in the game" in 2003 and since then I've collected literally millions and millions of frequent flyer miles and hotel points. I've flown around the world in first class seats that would cost $29,000 using frequent flyer miles and a few bucks in tax. And I've stayed in some of the finest hotels - all for free! A few years ago I realized many of my friends actually thought I was paying for these!! So I started sharing my tips. It's long been a passion, but when I hosted a session on Miles and Points at the South by Southwest festival, my love of the game intensified and this blog was born.
