A few weeks I wrote about a 30% transfer bonus from American Express Membership Rewards to Virgin Atlantic which runs until July 1st.
30% Transfer Bonus From Citi ThankYou to Virgin Atlantic
Now Citi ThankYou is joining the party with the same bonus, although only until June 22nd.
This means that you can, of course, combine your points from both programs with the same 30% bonus on your points.

This transfer bonus is best for two particular redemptions that I’ve written about before.
One is to redeem for First Class on ANA to or through Japan. I’ve written previously about the details of using Virgin Atlantic miles to book ANA First Class, so refer to that for specifics.
The other great use is on Delta. You’ll often find an award in Delta One to/from Europe that Delta itself wants around 100,000 SkyMiles for – for only 50,000 Virgin Atlantic Miles. That’s just 35,000 Amex points for a one way to Europe in Business Class! Crazy sweet deal.
To book either, be sure to call Virgin and get a 48 hour hold on the flight you want, then initiate the transfer.
If you haven’t opened or closed a Citi (personal) ThankYou card in the last 24 months, a new Citi Premier credit card can earn you 50,000 ThankYou points once you meet the minimum spend. That would be worth 65,000 Virgin Atlantic miles in this current bonus and more than enough for a one way flight across the pond in Business Class…
