What will they announce? Well, I have no idea. I sure wish I did. People have speculated everything from a quicker-than-expected SPG/Marriott complete combination (doubtful) to a partially combined program that kicks off in August, to it being the day SPG kills transfers to airlines with no notice (I sure hope not!!).
Marriott properties have apparently been given boxes full of collateral marked “Do Not Open Until 4/15 4:30 PM”
I previously wrote about my thoughts on the upcoming merger of the SPG and Marriott programs. Wish I could say I had new news, but not quite yet. All I can say is that my nails are well bitten….
