bilt transfer to avios

Bilt Rewards is the currency of a credit card that earns points for payments on rent. For those in high cost of living areas paying rent, it’s an easy way to earn up to 50,000 points a year for something you pay anyway now by check/ACH – except you earn rewards and there’s no fee.

As of yesterday, the airline transfer partners Bilt had were:

  • American Airlines AAdvantage
  • Air Canada Aeroplan
  • Air France Flying Blue
  • Cathay Pacific Asia Miles
  • Emirates Skywards
  • Hawaiian Airlines
  • United Airlines MileagePlus
  • Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles
  • Virgin Atlantic

Plus two hotel partners: World of Hyatt and IHG Rewards.

They have just added an additional three partners:

  • British Airways Avios
  • Iberia Avios
  • Aer Lingus Avios

Remember you can transfer between Avios programs, so left unsaid is that with linked British Airways Avios and Qatar Avios accounts, this technically adds four partners.

And that means that you can now use Bilt points to book Qatar’s QSuites by both the best way (American) and the second best way (Qatar’s Avios).

I have to give Bilt credit… they are really working to build this program out.

New to all of this? My “introduction to miles and points” book, MilesTalk: Live Your Wildest Travel Dreams Using Miles and Points is available on Amazon and at major booksellers.

I got "in the game" in 2003 and since then I've collected literally millions and millions of frequent flyer miles and hotel points. I've flown around the world in first class seats that would cost $29,000 using frequent flyer miles and a few bucks in tax. And I've stayed in some of the finest hotels - all for free! A few years ago I realized many of my friends actually thought I was paying for these!! So I started sharing my tips. It's long been a passion, but when I hosted a session on Miles and Points at the South by Southwest festival, my love of the game intensified and this blog was born.
