EEEEEATSCON

If you live in LA, this is pretty cool. EEEEEATSCON is a food festival, as you would expect, created by foodie website The Infatuation. Technically, the event is in Santa Monica, at The Barker Hangar.

Chase Sapphire is sponsoring the event this year, taking place for the first time since 2019, and if you have a Chase Sapphire Reserve or Chase Sapphire Preferred, you’ll get special perks including:

  • Sapphire Reserve cardmembers will have exclusive access to the Chase Sapphire Lounge, featuring complimentary food and beverages and other surprises
  • Once each day of the festival, Sapphire Reserve and Sapphire Preferred cardmembers will be able to enjoy one hour of complimentary food and beverages from select vendors throughout EEEEEATSCON
  • Plus, Sapphire Reserve and Sapphire Preferred cardmembers who purchased presale tickets will be able to enjoy the festival an hour before it opens to all others

All EEEEEATSCON attendees will enjoy:

  • A first-of-its-kind burger collab between Shake Shack and LA’s Tacos Y Birria La Unica
  • Representation from local Los Angeles and cross-country restaurants including:
    • Broad Street Oyster Bar, Nixta (Austin), Sanguich de Miami (Miami), Willie Mae’s Scotch House (New Orleans), Kindred (New York, NY)
  • Musical acts from DJ Ivy, Morse Code, LALA Brass and more

Well, though I spend a lot of time in LA, I’m pretty jealous I won’t be in town for this one. Sounds like a fun event, made even more fun if you have a Sapphire Reserve or Sapphire Preferred card.

I actually went to one of these a few years ago (2019?) at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, NY. It was sponsored by the Amex Gold Card that time.

Let me know how it is!
