If you are reading this post, or read any of my posts, thank you.

Without readers on this blog, and of my book, and community members on the MilesTalk Facebook group, there’d be no MilesTalk.

That’s just me flying the A380. NBD.

Traffic on the blog is up 400% from November 2017 to November 2018 – a fantastic metric by any standard. Especially since MilesTalk is one of the very few miles and points blogs out there that isn’t part of a network, such as Boarding Area, that refers traffic around its members.

In 2019, I plan to keep pushing out more of the content that seems to get the most interest (yes, I pay close attention to how many times each article I write is liked/shared/etc). I would love to see readership rise another 400%.

The Facebook group that is only about a year and a half old has grown from 1 member (me!) to just about 2,000 MilesTalkers and two wonderful moderators assisting me in making the community there one of the most useful, quickest to answer, and friendliest online miles and points communities anywhere.

And I finally hit 1,000 followers on Twitter (@MilesTalk), which is cool only because I love the fast interaction of Twitter. Though not political Twitter. I hate political Twitter.

In early 2019, I’m going to be launching a whole new venture that is part of the MilesTalk family of sites. I’ve been hard at work for the last 4 months on it and in another 1-2 months I’ll be able to unveil it to the world. I can’t wait!

I remain committed to helping more and more people explore the world using miles and points than ever before. Again, I thank you for your support the last 2 years.

I wish you and your family a very healthy and happy holiday season.

Dave
