60,000 Bonus ThankYou Points on Citi Premier (New Bonus Offer)
If you have been waiting for the right time to pick up a Citi Premier card, it’s now got a 60,000 point bonus offer when you spend $4,000 in 3 months.
Although the 1st year fee is no longer waived, it’s still a better deal than before as you are picking up the 10k extra ThankYou points for 0.095 cents each.

Is the 60,000 ThankYou point bonus offer on the Citi Premier a good deal?
They have sent out 60,000 point targeted mailers when the public bonus was 50,000. They had also, in the past, had this card’s bonus offer at 60,000 points with the first year waived, but I suspect this move is clearly following Chase’s lead and that offer won’t return.
The Citi Premier has never had a better bonus than this, although it’s been the same with an annual fee waiver the first year.
My pure speculation now is that it is likely to alternate from now on with 50k / 1st year fee waived and 60k with no first year annual fee waiver.

Bear in mind that you are eligible for a bonus on this card only if you have not opened OR closed a personal Citi ThankYou card in the last 24 months, haven’t applied for a Citi card in the last 8 days, and haven’t applied for 2 Citi cards in the last 65 days.
