Many people still have the Citi Prestige card, featuring the simplicity of a straight $250 travel credit, 4th night free on hotels, 5x at restaurants, and 5x at travel agencies including online and for airfare. It also includes Priority Pass airport dining experiences.
It closed to new applicants in 2021 and you cannot product change into it.
The rumor mill had it that Citi Prestige cardholders would be forcibly product changed into the new Strata Elite card which, while premium, is very, very different. This made us current Prestige cardholder pretty sad.
Well, Brian Kelly, aka the Points Guy and a Citi advertising partner shares on his Instagram that this will not be the case. And he’d be getting pretty direct information.
Apparently we’ll get to keep it. Hurrah! 🥳
