If you are the type to transfer your Citi Thank You points over to Hilton (and if you are, shame on you for wasting valuable Thank You points!), you’d better get your transfers in by Dec. 13th. That will be the last day you can transfer, as further fallout of the ending of the the Citi / Hilton relationship now that Hilton has gone “All Amex, All The Time.”

💳 If you are in a cash crunch, you should avoid travel rewards credit cards until you are caught up. Here are our favorite credit cards for Intro 0% APR offers and for balance transfer offers

The 2:1 bonus ratio they were running has ended as well – leaving you to get just 1.5 Hilton points for a Thank You point. With a Hilton point worth just under half a cent each, I strongly advise you to never do this transfer anyway, unless maybe you need just a few thousand Hilton points to reach an award you want. That’s the only time it might make sense.

If you REALLY want to transfer to Hilton after Dec 13th, you can still use your American Express Membership Rewards points for that, though I still beg you not to…
