From Hyatt:

For World of Hyatt Cardmembers looking to get away this season, it pays to travel when staying at Andaz hotels and resorts.

If you are in a cash crunch, you should avoid travel rewards credit cards until you are caught up. Here are our favorite credit cards for Intro 0% APR offers and for balance transfer offers

From October 20 through December 23, 2021, World of Hyatt Credit Card cardmembers and World of Hyatt Business Credit Card cardmembers can accelerate earning World of Hyatt elite status by receiving two Tier-Qualifying night credits for each eligible night stayed at any Andaz property around the world.

Cardmembers must register for the promotion by December 23, 2021, and have a checkout date from October 20, 2021 through December 23, 2021 in order for eligible nights to count toward earning double Tier-Qualifying night credits. Free night awards are considered eligible under this promotion.

Furthermore, cardmembers can combine this offer with the 1,000 American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles offer for qualifying stays at 190+ participating Hyatt hotels in cities across the U.S., providing an even more valuable opportunity to earn World of Hyatt elite status and AAdvantage® bonus miles when staying at participating Andaz properties in the U.S.

Terms & Conditions:

You must be a World of Hyatt credit card holder and register for the promotion between October 20, 2021 and December 23, 2021 to participate. All eligible nights under this promotion at Andaz properties must have a checkout date from October 20, 2021 through December 23, 2021 (“Promotion Period”). Each eligible night completed at Andaz properties during the Promotion Period will count as two (2) nights, instead of one (1), for the purpose of tier qualification for Discoverist, Explorist and Globalist status. The extra night credit will also count towards benefits and awards that explicitly require a certain number of qualifying nights. For the purpose of this promotion, an “Eligible Night” is defined as any night where a member is paying an Eligible Rate or redeems a free night award for at least one night of their stay. Only the room occupied by the Member will count toward this promotion. You must provide your World of Hyatt membership number at the time of check-in for each stay. Please allow up to 8 weeks from the last day of the calendar month of your stay, for World of Hyatt Tier-Qualifying Night credits to be added to your World of Hyatt account. All nights associated with this promotion will be posted to your World of Hyatt account (My Past Activity section). Promotion not valid with other offers, promotions or discounts and is non- transferable. Hyatt reserves the right to alter or withdraw this promotion with a suitable substitute promotion of equal value (if legally required) at any time due to actual circumstances. This promotion is subject to the terms and conditions of the World of Hyatt program available at worldofhyatt.com/terms. My Take

While limited in utility (Andaz-only) it certainly doesn’t hurt to have another opportunity to earn extra elite nights, whether to qualify for Globalist during the 2021 program year (only requiring 30 elite nights instead of 60) or to earn extra threshold benefits (earned for every 10 nights) like confirmed Suite upgrades at 50 and 60 nights.

And it’s great that award nights count as well.

New to all of this? My “introduction to miles and points” book, MilesTalk: Live Your Wildest Travel Dreams Using Miles and Points is available on Amazon and at major booksellers.

I got "in the game" in 2003 and since then I've collected literally millions and millions of frequent flyer miles and hotel points. I've flown around the world in first class seats that would cost $29,000 using frequent flyer miles and a few bucks in tax. And I've stayed in some of the finest hotels - all for free! A few years ago I realized many of my friends actually thought I was paying for these!! So I started sharing my tips. It's long been a passion, but when I hosted a session on Miles and Points at this year's South by Southwest festival, my love of the game intensified and this blog was born.

  1. Hi, can it be double stacked w/ the Hyatt’s credit card double nights offer if I redeem a night at Andaz?

Will I get 4 nights credit or only 2?

    Thanks.

    • 3. Per Hyatt:

This offer can be stacked with that promotion. Let’s say you signed up for the World of Hyatt Credit Card under that promotion, and register for the Andaz promotion and stay one eligible night during the promotion dates – you would earn 3 Tier-Qualifying nights per eligible night stayed at an Andaz property during the promotion.
