This will be a short blog post to remind you that the offer to get 10 elite nights on the World of Hyatt credit card instead of the usual 5 ends December 31st, 2020.
You need to apply by then. Even if your application needs a manual review or reconsideration after that, you’ll get the 10 elite nights.
You’ll get 10 elite night credits in 2020, which could be useful for reaching the next tier level of Milestone Rewards – especially appealing if you are near a Guaranteed Suite Upgrade or the Category 1-7 Reward.
And then you’ll get 10 more elite nights for 2021 (they revert to 5 elite nights in 2022).
Given that you only need 30 elite nights in 2021 to earn Hyatt Globalist status for just over 2 full years, and given that elite nights count double through Feb 28th, 2020, this offer gets you 1/3 of the total elite nights you need for Globalist. Just 10 more nights before Feb 28th get doubled to 20 (registration for the Double Elite Nights is required) and will get you top tier Globalist through Feb 2022. I personally finally got the World of Hyatt credit card myself for this offer. It’s never been a bad time to get it, since it’s a solid card that offers annual points rebates on awards (an annual special Hyatt runs, despite not being a card benefit) plus an annual free Category 1-4 night.
On top of the 10 bonus elite nights when you apply by December 31, 2020, you’ll get the bonus offer for up to 50,000 bonus World of Hyatt points: 25,000 when you spend $3,000 in your first 3 months and 25,000 more when you spend $6,000 total in your first 6 months.

The Hyatt Credit Card application page now only shows 5 elite nights. Can you confirm that we will be provided 10 elite nights for 2021 if we apply by the end of the day (12/31/20) today?
I’ve been told it applies to all applications through all channels (including our link) through 12/31.
