The Amex Gold Card

When American Express relaunched the Gold Card, it was (and remains) a big deal.Amex Rose Gold

Many people really got excited for the new “Rose Gold” color card as well. It was available at launch for many months, but then they went back to the standard Gold color only.

Then, a little while ago they brought Rose Gold back for a limited time, via referral links only.

If you want the Rose Gold Card, you have until this Weds, July 17th, to go for it. ( <– That’s my own referral link). The bonus offer is 40,000 Membership Rewards, though some people get lucky and find an offer for 50,000 points. You can try loading the link in an incognito browser to see if that gets you the 50,000 point offer.

As a refresh on the Gold Card’s benefits (you can view a comprehensive guide to the Amex Gold Card on Your Best Credit Cards):

The Gold Card offers 4x Membership Rewards points on restaurants and supermarkets (up to $25,000 a year), as well as 3x on flights. It also offers $10 in monthly dining credits (Seamless/GrubHub ++) and $100 in annual airline incidental credits. These credits offset all but $30 of the annual fee.

4X Membership Rewards points on both restaurants and groceries makes it a great combo card for a lot of people.

The restaurant spend used to be “US only” but has since been expanded globally.
