Per Lucky at OneMileAtATime, JAL has released lots of First and Business Class seats thanks to an upgrade on one of the daily flights from an A380 to a 777 (only the 777s have First Class).

He also reports that one of the flights is now landing at Haneda instead of Narita – which if you’ve never been is a big deal. Haneda is MUCH closer and more convenient to Tokyo than Narita. My shuttle from Narita hit traffic and took me 3 hours to downtown- after a 14.5 hour flight! The alternative was a $300 Uber or taxi ride…

Have a look at his post for all the details on current award availability.

Read more on my JAL experience in 1st Class or how I booked the flights using American Airlines miles. They would have cost me $29,000 with cash!
