Since launch, if I recall correctly, we have not seen any elevated bonus offers on the IHG® Rewards Premier Business Credit Card.

I got mine last year just after launch and it just renewed.

The offer had been 140,000 bonus IHG points when you spend $3,000 within 3 months.

They are bumping that up by 25,000 points for the same spending requirement, offering essentially an extra $125 worth of points.

New Offer: Earn 165,000 bonus points after spending $3,000 on qualifying purchases on your card in the first three months from account opening.

How to apply

This is a limited time offer, so it’s definitely worth considering if you are under 5/24 – especially since it won’t add to your 5/24 as a business card. (And yes, you are probably eligible for business cards!).

  • No foreign transaction fee.

Note that I wrote about a little travel tip to maximize those $25 bi-annual United credits

Ask any questions you’ve got below. I personally got the card for the 4th night free as I don’t have the personal Premier and didn’t want to use a 5/24 slot.

And with 5X points on gas, it’s my new go to (business) card for gas, earning about 2.5% back. (I could also use my Chase Ink Business Cash® Credit Card for 2X Ultimate Rewards worth about 3.5% since it’s paired with my Chase Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card – but I like being able to slowly grow my IHG balance for 4th night free awards and Ultimate Rewards would only transfer 1:1.

New to all of this? My “introduction to miles and points” book, MilesTalk: Live Your Wildest Travel Dreams Using Miles and Points is available on Amazon and at major booksellers.

I got "in the game" in 2003 and since then I've collected literally millions and millions of frequent flyer miles and hotel points. I've flown around the world in first class seats that would cost $29,000 using frequent flyer miles and a few bucks in tax. And I've stayed in some of the finest hotels - all for free! A few years ago I realized many of my friends actually thought I was paying for these!! So I started sharing my tips. It's long been a passion, but when I hosted a session on Miles and Points at the South by Southwest festival, my love of the game intensified and this blog was born.
