This offer has been extended to October 15, 2025. Same promo code.
For those unfamiliar with the Mesa Card, it’s a credit card designed for those with mortgages. While everyone waits for Bilt to offer mortgage payments (which will be amazing), Mesa is already here giving you points on your mortgage.
If you ARE familiar, I’ll cut to the chase:
There is a new best ever offer to apply for this card.
You’ll get 50,000 Mesa points after you apply through this link (you’ll need to be on a phone as it will have you download the Mesa app), enter the code SEPT50 in the application, and then spend $12,000 in the first 3 months to earn the 50,000 bonus points.
Available through 9/30/2025. You must use the offer promo code at application to enroll in the offer!
It’s no secret and Gary at View from the Wing has even noticed that it should be possible to double dip once Bilt opens that up, since Mesa doesn’t actually charge your card for the mortgage payment; it simply requires proof of the payment to award the points!
The no-annual fee Mesa card’s points are transferable (more on that in a second) and the card comes with a bunch of statement credits which is unusual for a no-annual fee card.
So that is up to $725 in statement credits to offset…. no annual fee?
Then on top of that you get the points monthly for your mortgage (1 point per dollar) as long as you spend $1,000 on the card each month. That can even be in a bonus category like child care (which nobody is getting for under $1,000 a month…).

It even has unique bonus categories:
- Earn 1X Mesa Points for every $1 of your monthly mortgage payments – up to 100,000 points annually. Subject to spending $1,000 in purchases on your card in the same statement period as your mortgage payment.
- 3X Mesa Points on home & family expenses —home improvement, decor, maintenance, utilities, and daycare¹.
- 2X Mesa Points on everyday purchases—groceries, gas, EV charging, & more¹.
- 1X Mesa Points per $1 spent on all other eligible purchases¹.

Mesa Card Airline and Hotel Transfer Partners
I’ll need to go into more detail on these another time, but for now, many of you will already know what to do with a majority of these transfer partners. The only one that might be new to you is the Air India Maharaja program and the most talked about sweet spot there is booking United flights domestically: Flights under 600 miles in coach is 3,500 points or 7,000 in First. The next tier which would be something like New York to Chicago is 5,500 points in coach or 11,000 for First.
Airlines (all 1:1):
- Air Canada Aeroplan
- Air India Maharaja Club
- Finnair Finnair Plus
- Hainan Airlines Fortune Wings Club
- SAS EuroBonus
- Thai Airways Royal Orchid Plus
- Vietnam Airlines LotusMiles
Hotels:
- Accor Accor Live Limitless (This is a 1.5 : 1 transfer ratio)

5/24?
Not sure the question. 5/24 is only a Chase thing.
Will this card ADD to your 5/34? Yes. It’s a personal card.
Can you get this card if over 5/24? Absolutely.
This is a great card but yikes…twice as much spend required now for the SUB as before. If you might be interested in getting this card for its benefits but not spending $10,000, we can both still earn 5,000 points using my rederral code, emwmcd, thanks!
Sorry, that’s $12,000 (first time was $5,000)
Hi Dave – why are you deleting referral codes? Is this your unposted blog rule? Just wondering given no published issue?
Hi Pam,
In the history of the blog (and Facebook group) we have always had a “no referrals unless requested” policy – for several reasons.
We do sometimes request them, but this was not one of those times 😉
Thanks for understanding.
Any tips to getting past the waiting list for this card?
I don’t see any waitlist using the link in this post?
Do the mortgage payments count towards the $12k spending minimum?
Unfortunately not. The mortgage payment doesn’t actually even go on the card. You just get the points 🙂
Actually I guess since you get 3% back on property tax it won’t as hard to spend that min.
This is a genuinely valuable card that has emerged like Bilt – full of surprises. Play your cards right, & you might still end up w a 100,000+ SUB in the first year. All the gimme store credits are quite surprising for a no-fee card. Distinctive are: 1. Good SUB 2. Great 3x spend cats (who doesn’t have HOA along with their mortgage? who doesnt pay income & property taxes? who doesn’t renew their drivers license or have other “govt svcs”? Maybe even a State professional license fee you were putting on a Double Cash cc?). 3. NO AF. This card continues to impress the longer I have it with picking up extra value I couldn’t find elsewhere on certain spend . Not an end-all-be-all card but a very nice complement to a strategy seeking addtl value.
