There is a new (public) bonus offer out now for the United Explorer Card.

You can earn up to 65,000 miles. 40,000 miles when you spend $2,000 within 3 months and 25,000 more when you spend $10,000 total in 6 months.

The United Explorer Card has the $95 annual fee waived the first year and earns 2x miles on United purchases as well as restaurants and hotel stays (although really, put those on your Chase Sapphire Reserve or Chase Sapphire Preferred card where you earn 3x or 2x on the same and can still transfer to United – or any other Ultimate Rewards partner).

The card also offers expanded United award availability (economy flights operated by United only), a free checked bad (must use your card to purchase the ticket), priority boarding and two United Club passes on card renewal each year.

Most of you already know what this card is and what it does, so really, this post is about the new bonus offer. Remember you won’t be eligible if you’ve gotten a Chase United signup bonus in the last 24 months or if you are over 5/24.
