First, and unrelated, I had a bit of a server issue today and lost a few recent posts. Nothing too killer.

Per Danny the Deal Guru, Plastiq stopped coding as 3x for the Chase Ink Preferred card on Aug 16th. We don’t know yet if its temporary or permanent, but if you’d been using this trick to make a 2% profit on your business check payments (outlined here).

Many of you had also used the recent (and still active) deal to get 5,000 Fee Free Dollars with $10k in payments with a new Plastiq account in August.  But most would have done that with an eye towards getting 3x on an Ink Preferred card… so be aware.

I checked a charge of mine from Thursday and indeed, 1x.

I’ll update if it returns….
