By referral only, if you are new to Plastiq and select “Business” as your account type when registering, you’ll get 10,000 Fee Free Dollars when you spend $10,000 through Plastiq by March 30th.  This is equivalent to getting a $250 account bonus.

This is valid from today and through March 31, 2019.

10,000 Fee Free Dollars means that you can make $10,000 in payments through Plastiq and pay no fee to do so. The standard fee is 2.5% and this allows you to make payments with a credit card to merchants that don’t otherwise accept credit cards.  You use a card and they send a check (or ACH or wire if you prefer, for an additional fee).

If you were to spend $20,000 (half by March 30th and half after the FFDs are awarded) you would lower your fee for that spend to 1.25% making it a winner with any card that has a greater return than that.  You can pay a variety of business expenses via Plastiq – even taxes or rent.

To sign up, you need to use a referral link, such as this one (MilesTalk’s link) and make sure you specify it’s a business account at Plastiq when you open it.

It’s a great way to meet minimum spend on a card with a higher than average minimum spend requirement, such as the Capital One Spark Miles or Spark Business.

The Capital One Spark Miles for Business card (learn more) is offering a bonus of up to 200,000 miles (which would become 150,000 airline miles). You will earn a bonus of 50,000 miles when you spend $5,000 in the first 3 months of opening your account and then another 150,000 miles when you spend $50,000 within the first 6 months. (The cash version of this card has a similar offer).

The miles earned from the bonus offer + minimum spend would be 300,000 Capital One “miles” and would be equal to 225,000 airline miles. In fact, you could have some pretty fantastic redemptions. For instance, you could use the miles to fly round trip in Lufthansa’s famed First Class from the US to Europe and back with plenty to spare. Or head to Asia in First on a Star Alliance carrier. (learn more)

And the Capital One Spark Cash for Business (learn more) is offering the same offer but with cash. $500 when you spend $5,000 in 3 months and $1,500 more if you spend a total of $50,000 within 3 months.

You could also use it to meet minimum spend on a card like the Chase Ink Business Preferred Credit Card, which requires just $5,000 in spend in 3 months to earn 80,000 Ultimate Rewards points.
