miles-lrgSubscribe to my emails on miles / points deals

By now, there are dozens (more?) of websites about frequent flyer miles and points that are run by the so-called “bloggers”. With a handful of decent blogs and dozens of “me-too” blogs that all run around copying each other, it got tiresome.

I’m going to assume you guys know that they do this to make money. And fair enough – websites exist to make money. But they are acting in the best interests of a few big credit card companies that pay them a LOT of money per approved application. So they push those and spend less time on everything else – especially deals that don’t commission them.

I have this idea in my head of getting back to a simpler way of travel tips. An email, a couple of times a week, with things happening in the world of miles and points. It might be about an important merger (like Starwood and Marriott) or about a new rule on credit card churning (you need to know about the Chase 5/24 rule).

Oh, my credentials? Yes – why should you listen to me?

I’ve been in this game for over ten years. I’ve amassed literally millions of miles and points and have flown the world over for free – flying in first class to Europe, South America and Asia and living it up with free rooms – like a butler suite on the water in Monte Carlo and in a private villa in Thailand. I’ve spoken on the topic at major conferences.

But the game is changing, fast, and people will be doing this less and less. I want to help you do it while you still can.

You can even reach out to me via Twitter @thedavegrossman (and soon via @MilesTalkDave)

I’m building out a site that will launch soon, but in the meantime I’m sending out tips, tricks, and weekly “what you need to know” emails right now. Join me….
