The AP is reporting that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and US President Donal Trump have agreed to keep the border between the US and Canada closed for an additional 30 days beyond the original agreement – extending the border closure to June 21st.

USA and Canadian Border Crossing Remains Closed Through June 21st

The current exceptions remain in place. You’ll be able to cross the US/Canadian border only if:

  • You are an American returning to the United States
  • You are a Canadian returning to Canada
  • You are an essential worker (heathcare worker, airline crew, truck driver)
