There’s flight deal,  mistake, deal (???) live right now to go from Dallas to Australis from $174 round trip. It’s in coach with a connection in LA, so over 17 hours in coach… but if you can handle that it’s quite a deal. As always, book immediately with Priceline, where you can cancel free within 24 hours. Also, wait a bit before booking anything else you can’t cancel as this may be canceled later by the airline if it is indeed a mistake fare.  Details at the Flight Deal.

You have just over 24 hours left to book United awards at current levels before the devaluation takes place. At least we got a lot of notice this time. Lots of awards are going up, most 5-10,000 miles but some more. This Thai Airways 9 hour first class flight for just 40k miles will be gone after tomorrow… Here are 5 awards to consider in the next 24 hours.

IHG Point Break deals are out now for the next quarter, with a bunch of hotels around the world for just 5,000 points. Nothing high end but some of these may be interesting if you are going somewhere on the list. 5,000 points can be up to 75% off. Capacity is capped on these.

Last call for 35,000 SPG points with the SPG Business Amex. Offer ends Nov 1st. Great deal for a card that may vanish in the merger.

The United Mileage Plus mall can earn you up to 5,000 bonus miles this season. Always check all the portals before making a big purchase though. Don’t forget to check CashBackMonitor before buying. And Ebates.

More to come…. that should keep you busy for a minute or two.
