The Chase Sapphire Preferred® has just launched its best offer of the year.
They came close in 2021, though that offer for 100,000 points only required $4,000 in spend while this requires $5,000.
For a very limited time, you can earn 100,000 bonus points worth at least $1,250 of travel, when you are approved for the Chase Sapphire Preferred® during this offer period and spend $5,000 within 3 months.

Learn How to Apply for the Chase Sapphire Preferred® 100,000 Point Offer
(Please do take note that this is $1,000 more in required spend than previous online offers – so don’t fall short!)
Chase Sapphire Preferred® Benefits:
- Earn 100,000 bonus points after spending $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening
- Earn 3X on dining
- Earn 3X on online groceries (excluding Target, Walmart and wholesale stores)
- Earn 5X on travel purchased through Chase Travel
- Earn up to $50 in statement credits each account anniversary year for hotel stays purchased through Chase Travel.
- Each account anniversary you’ll earn bonus points equal to 10% of your total purchases made the previous year. That means if you spend $25,000 on purchases, you’ll get 2,500 bonus points.
- Your points are worth 1.25 cents when redeemed through Chase Travel℠
- Points Transfer 1:1 to airline and hotel partner programs
As great as it is to redeem these points via Chase Travel℠ for $1,250 worth of travel (which is pretty amazing for a card with just a $95 annual fee!) I’d suggest that Chase’s transfer partners offer the best value.
I’m a personal huge fan of transferring to World of Hyatt (you can even book premium suites with points in their program!), but you’ll also find familiar programs like United, Southwest, British Airways, and Air France. Whether you redeem for hotel stays, economy awards or business class awards, 100,000 Ultimate Rewards® points will go a long way! And if combined with a Transfer Bonus, they could go even further!

Note that you cannot have received a bonus offer on either card within the last 48 months or currently have the card to be eligible for these offers. If you had a Sapphire card that you product changed to a Freedom family card and it’s been more than 48 months since your Sapphire bonus, then you would be eligible.

I have had the CSR since its inception. I’ve heard I can downgrade to a Freedom and then can reapply for the CSP since it’s been more than 48 months since I received the bonus. How long do I need to wait after downgrading to apply for the CSP?
Hi @FF. About 5 days.
