NYC: Delta award Flash Sale to/from NYC from 11,000 miles Round Trip

During this Flash Sale, lights start at 11,000 miles round-trip (plus taxes and fees)*, when you book by 11:59pm ET October 12^th, 2017, and travel from November 1 through December 14, 2017.

In theory, it’s a nice discount off the standard 25,000 mile round trip pricing, except with Delta there’s no longer a standard and award flights cost whatever they want. Still, with some of these routes, and if you can find availability for your preferred rates, you may be able to get a deal.

I value Delta miles at just over a penny each – around 1.2 cents a piece. So if you see a round trip for 20,000 miles and that ticket would cost more than $240 in cash, it may be a good redemption.

Unfortunately, it’s in coach only and I prefer to save my miles for long international trips on Delta’s partners, but many of my readers are NYC based so let me know if you book a deal!
