As restaurants around the world figure out the best path to reopening in a manner that is consistent with best practices around social distancing (a 6 foot radius from other diners seems to be a general goal, although indoor dining with HVAC systems may prove to be another issue), one ingenious restaurant in Amsterdam has solved it flat.

Known as “Serres Séparées,” each diner is served their meal in a greenhouse overlooking the Oosterdok.
Since you are enclosed with your dining companions and separated from everyone else, it seems entirely safe.
Even the service is done from 6 feet apart as you can see below.

If you were hoping to score a timeslot, you’ll be waiting until July. They are still waiting to reopen their traditional restaurant so, for now, they are limited to these five tables.
Of course, they recommend that you dine only with those you already live with.

I think this is an absolutely fantastic way to get back to dining out… If we had something like this operating in NYC, I’d be first in line.
