American Express has now upped the “public offer” on the Business Platinum Card from American Express to match the one that has been available via cardholder referral links.

Earn up to 100,000 Membership Rewards points on the Amex Business Platinum card:
- Spend $10,000 in 3 months for 50,000 bonus points.
- Spend an additional $15,000 in 3 months for an additional 50,000 points.
I value the full bonus at $1,750 using current MilesTalk miles and points values.
Perhaps the most compelling reason to get the card is the free year of WeWork Global Access. You’ll need to enroll by Dec 31st and that will give you a full year (actually up to 13 months) of access to all WeWorks globally during business hours.
Of course, the Amex Business Platinum Card has lots of other perks (to come along with the $595 annual fee):
- Gold Hilton status
- Gold Marriott status
- Priority Pass Lounge Access (excludes Priority Pass restaurants)+ Centurion Lounge access
- Twice annual $100 Dell credits
- 10 Gogo in-flight wifi passes per year
With the high annual fee, you have to analyze the perks to determine if it’s right for you. I enrolled in the WeWork benefit myself (despite having a WeWork office already, so I have unlimited use when traveling) and find that to more than cover the price of admission.
If you are looking for the personal version of the card, you should check CardMatch to see if you have the 100,000 offer there, which is very targeted.
