It’s that time again!
This article is for both the legacy Chase Freedom and the new Freedom Flex.
As a refresher, the old Chase Freedom and the new Freedom Flex allow you to earn 5X Ultimate Rewards points on whatever the chosen categories are for that 3 month period. The limit is $1,500 in spend for the quarter per card, for a total of 7,500 Ultimate Rewards points on the spend.
You can now register for the July/August/September 2021 Chase Freedom Flex bonus categories, which are:
- Grocery store purchases (not including Walmart or Target)
- Select streaming services
We’ve seen a lot of grocery store bonuses this year, but who doesn’t have large grocery bills? Not only that, you can always tuck a gift card or two in with that shopping order 😉
While I normally use my Rose Gold Amex to get 4X on super market spend, I love my Chase Ultimate Rewards points, especially to transfer to World of Hyatt where I get tremendous value, so I’ll be shifting my spend to the Freedom Flex next quarter, at least until I max out the $1,500.
Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card ENDS by NOV 14, 2024: Earn 60,000 bonus points after you spend $4,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. Plus, get up to $300 in Chase Travel statement credits in the first year of account opening for any purchases made on Chase Travel. How to apply for this offer.
