Amex has made a couple of tweaks you need to know about on The Platinum Card® from American Express.
New Entertainment Credit Partners
Until today, you could only use your $20 per month “Entertainment credit” on four partners: Peacock, Audible, SiriusXM, and The New York Times.
This understandably left many questioning the value of the credit.
The partner list has been substantially expanded as of today to include (new partners in bold):
Audible, Disney+, The Disney Bundle, ESPN+, Hulu, Peacock, SiriusXM, and The New York Times.
I would think that many will be able to now fully take advantage of this credit. I personally cut the cord and get all my cable channels via Hulu now.
I suspect for many this will actually be a full $240 benefit against the $695 annual fee now.
