A small step on the surface could portend much bigger developments later….
Today, Bilt announced that you can now pay your condo and co-op fees in buildings managed by Douglas Eliman with Bilt and earn Bilt Rewards points (with no transaction fee, of course). This is huge because of course, until now, you could only use Bilt for paying rent – and not everyone rents!
Of course, everyone hopes (and asks constantly) about if you’ll ever be able to pay your mortgage with Bilt. In the meantime, paying your condo and co-op fees (albeit only with Douglas Eliman for now) is a big step in the right direction.
