Earlier today it was widely reported that the Chase Sapphire Reserve® would be gaining a $15 monthly credit for DoorDash.
The only thing was that it wasn’t stated anywhere by Chase; it was only mentioned on a Reddit run by a site called NextCard (and everyone else seemed to run with it from there). I didn’t want to report it as fact since there was no source cited and it seemed odd nobody else was reporting it. I’d link the post, but I can’t find it anymore.

I reached out to Chase directly to get confirmation and it is indeed true.
Per a Chase representative: “Beginning October 1, 2026, Chase Sapphire Reserve will increase the value and flexibility of its existing DoorDash benefits. The current $5 monthly DoorDash restaurant credit will increase to a $15 monthly credit that can be used on all eligible DoorDash orders. The existing two $10 monthly non-restaurant promos will remain the same. Sapphire Reserve DashPass members will now receive up to $35 in DoorDash value each month.”
This is obviously fantastic news for Chase Sapphire Reserve® cardholders. A $5 monthly credit for dining was hard to be excited about, especially given the fees associated with a DoorDash order. A $15 credit, on the other hand, is worth using. Better yet, you have the option to use the $15 credit on a restaurant – or anything else.
And the two existing $10 non-restaurant credits remain, so this is purely a benefit improvement. That’s another $120 worth of yearly credits if you use DoorDash.
