Aeroplan, Air Canada’s frequent flyer program, got a huge boost recently when they added Etihad as a earn and burn partner. I was so excited that I penned this piece: 5 Reasons to book Etihad with Aeroplan Miles

10X Aeroplan Miles at Uber Eats
Frequent Miler reports on a new deal today that allows you to earn a huge 10X Aeroplan miles on UberEats spend. I value Aeroplan miles at 1.5 cents, meaning this equals a 15% rebate on spend.
Here’s the link to the UberEats offer page.
Terms:
Earn 10 Aeroplan Miles for every $1 you spend on orders with Uber Eats! This offer and any Aeroplan Miles are issued by Aeroplan, not Uber Eats. Offer is not valid with gift cards, cancelled orders, or in any combination with other Uber coupons or promotions. Aeroplan miles amount based on food value only, which excludes fees, taxes and tips.
There are no minimum or maximum order amounts required to receive Aeroplan miles. Limited time only. Please allow 6-8 weeks for miles crediting.
To earn Aeroplan Miles, you must complete your purchase during the same shopping session you start after clicking on the eStore link. Order must be placed within 2 hours of clicking on the Uber Eats offer to be eligible. If you visit other sites before completing your purchase or use coupons not provided by eStore, you may not earn Aeroplan Miles on your purchase. If you disable cookies on your computer you will not be able to earn Aeroplan Miles, as cookies are used to authenticate you and allocate miles to your account.
Frequent Miler says that the 10X miles will run until June 15th, after which time it will drop to 2X.
Is this the best Food Delivery Deal?
It’s actually not necessarily, though you should absolutely consider it.
Here are the things to be aware of:
1) Uber Eats charges hefty fees on delivery, in the form of both a delivery fee and a service charge. This deal is best used when you can pickup from the restaurant. Verify the prices match what you would pay the restaurant directly, however, as they sometimes inflate the Uber Eats prices to cover fees they are charged.
2) SoFi is still offering 20% off DoorDash when you pay with your SoFi debit card. For the same pickup, 20% in cash beats 15% in points. Unfortunately, you don’t get your DoorDash DashPass benefits from Chase if you choose to pay with SoFi so this really only works for pickup.
3) Seamless and GrubHub both offer a $9.99 monthly pass that gives you $10 back for every $100 you spend, plus free delivery and lower fees. If you order out as much as I do, 10% off all the time is a fantastic deal.
4) If you have the Amex Platinum card, remember you can use your monthly Uber benefit for Uber Eats.
5) Make sure you are using a credit card that earns bonus points for food delivery services.
