marriott global promotion q4

We’ve seen some pretty great hotel promotions lately…. Hyatt has led them all for sure. They have had double elite nights, both Jan-Feb on all stays and now with a new World of Hyatt credit card.

Hilton has also been offering promos like double/triple points for much of the year.

Marriott has been very stingy with promos, however. And we’ve all been hoping for a whopper of an end of year promo, especially with the Delta variant slowing travel again.

But, alas, the new Marriott global promotion is out and it could be stronger…

Per Marriott:

Registration starts today for the offer, which makes it easier and quicker to earn points to redeem free nights, exchange for gift cards and bid on Marriott Bonvoy Moments experiences.

Registered members will receive 1,500 bonus points on stays around the world that occur between September 14, 2021 and December 12, 2021. As a further incentive, members will also receive 3,000 additional points for stays at All-Inclusive by Marriott Bonvoy resorts during the same period. To take advantage of the promotion, members must register here before November 28, 2021.

So, the promotion gets you 1,500 Bonvoy points (worth $9 at current MilesTalk values for miles and points), regardless of length of stay or $$’s spent. If you happen to stay at an all-inclusive, that bumps up to an $27-in-value promotional reward (4,500 points).

Exclusions: Homes & Villas by Marriott International, Marriott Executive Apartments® and Marriott Vacation Club® owner-occupied weeks. Ritz-Carlton Reserve®, BVLGARI, and other hotels that do not currently participate in Marriott Bonvoy® are also excluded from the promotion.

Chase Sapphire PreferredChase Sapphire Preferred® Card ENDS by NOV 14, 2024: Earn 60,000 bonus points after you spend $4,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. Plus, get up to $300 in Chase Travel statement credits in the first year of account opening for any purchases made on Chase Travel. How to apply for this offer.
