MSC no longer Ocean cruise partner

Currently, if you have earned or matched to Ocean Prime and earn at least 250 Tier Credits after matching you are eligible for Travel Benefits.

These currently include 2 nights at Wynn Las Vegas (once per calendar year) and an MSC Cruise (also once per calendar year).

After many, many years as a partner, MSC will no longer be affiliated with Ocean.

If you currently have Prime status, you have until the end of this month to make a booking that sails by June 30, 2025.

The email from Ocean is below:

We are writing to inform you of an important update regarding our travel benefits program. Effective May 1, 2025, MSC Cruises will no longer be part of the Ocean Rewards Travel Benefits Program. If you haven’t taken advantage of the MSC Cruises offer yet, please make sure to book your trip before April 30, 2025.

We understand that many of you have enjoyed the benefits and experiences offered by MSC Cruises, but we are excited to announce that we will be introducing a new cruise partner in July 2025. Stay tuned for that announcement!

I suppose it was inevitable, given how many sailed and didn’t gamble. I have a bad feeling it may get replaced by Carnival but I guess we’ll just wait and see. If you have an inside info, drop it below or in the Facebook group!
