The Chase Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card is what I call a staple card in the Chase Ultimate Rewards credit card family.
For one, it’s an anchor card.
That refers to the fact that that it’s one of only three Chase cards – and the only business card – that allows for points transfers to Chase’s air and hotel partners. It also allows you to redeem for travel through the Ultimate Rewards portal at 1.25 cents per point in value, though I really believe the value is in transfer partners like World of Hyatt.
In fact, I’m writing this from the Grand Hotel Victoria in Menaggio on Lake Como, Italy – a Small Luxury Hotels branded hotel that sells for over 1,500 Euros a night in high season and I spent just 25,000 – 29,000 World or Hyatt points a night, for between 5 and 6 cents per point in value. Sure beats that portal 😉
If you have an Ink Cash or Ink Unlimited, you can transfer points to your Ink Preferred to use them in the same way.
But I also love the card itself.
It not only comes with primary car rental coverage when renting for business, but it earns 3X Ultimate Rewards points in the following categories: travel, cable/internet/VOIP, cellular service, search engine/social media and shipping, up to a combined maximum of $150,000 per year.
Those are some POWERFUL 3X categories for many business owners, myself included.
But let me get to the point.
The offer on the Chase Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card has been, for many years now, Earn 100,000 Ultimate Rewards points as a bonus when you spend $15,000 in your first 3 months.
That $15,000 in spend in three months has been a problem for so many. But today, Chase has nearly cut that minimum spend requirement in HALF.
As of today, the new bonus offer is Earn 100,000 Ultimate Rewards points as a bonus when you spend $8,000 in your first 3 months.
So if you have been on the fence or just plain locked out because that minimum spend requirement was too high, no more – you can go and get it!
