Marriott and United are launching a special offer for high tier elites in both programs.
It is a limited time offer beginning today for Marriott Bonvoy members with Titanium and Ambassador Elite status and United MileagePlus Premier Gold, Platinum and 1K members enrolled in the Preferred Partnership Program.
After registering for the promotion, members will earn points on flights and miles on stays.
750 bonus points will be awarded for eligible United flights, or 500 bonus miles will be awarded on stays at hotels participating in Marriott
Bonvoy.
Registration for the promotion begins today through December 9, 2023 (11:59 PM EST).
Marriott Titanium and Ambassador Bonvoy members can register here.
United Premier Gold and higher members can register here.
If you haven’t already linked your accounts (for reciprocal status, i.e. Titanium and higher Bonvoy members get automatic Silver status on United with linked accounts), it will prompt you to do so.
Some fine print
Eligible stays and flights must begin within the promotional period. This means roundtrip flights and/or hotel check in and completion of one night of the stay must start before December 9, 2023.
Eligible stays and flights booked before October 10 and that fall within the promotional period will also count toward bonus points and miles.
There is no limit on the number of eligible stays and flights if they comply with the terms and conditions of the promotion.
Flights booked with miles or money and miles are not eligible for this promotion.
Stayed booked with points do not count toward a qualifying stay. Stays must be paid for in cash.
My only gripe is how short this promo is…. just two months.
