This will lead to a massive collective sigh in the miles and points community.
PayPal Key, a service wherein you could generate a virtual account number at PayPal and link it to all of your cards (rotating which card you paid with at any time) with the extra bonus of it coding as a debit card (meaning that you could pay with a credit card at places that only took debit cards and/or paying the lower debit fee), is no more.
Per PayPal: On April 21, 2022, PayPal will remove the PayPal Key feature for all existing customers and any new transactions using their virtual card number will be declined.
Make sure you change any recurring payment methods, like for a cell phone bull or cable bill, before April 21st to avoid a payment declined situation.
RIP PayPal Key 😢
