I’m not exaggerating when I say this. I’ve often touted an ANA Round the World award as the very best deal in all of miles and points.
After all, when a one way business class ticket can top 100,000 points in many cases (not all! 😉 ), the prospect of spending 115,000 – 125,000 Amex Membership Rewards points transferred to ANA to get up to EIGHT stops for as long as you want as long as you stayed in one direction around the world (east or west) – and even more flights if the additional stops were less than 24 hours, how could you not see that as the best deal in town.
The only challenges on this award are finding enough time to truly take advantage of it (many would say you need a month+ to enjoy this) and then of course finding the Star Alliance availability (I suggest using United to find the flights as any partner awards showing would be bookable.
This deal ends June 23, 2025.

ANA says you will still be able to make changes to the award up to the end of ticket validity, so maybe go for it if you can? You’ll need to stick to flights less than 355 days from when you book since that is their award ticketing window.
I have a full guide on How to Book an ANA Round the World award here. Because of course I do 🙂
Even if you don’t have enough Amex points, it’s not hard to get this many using one or two welcome bonuses. (Link to cards that earn Amex Membership Rewards)
PS: ANA devalued their entire award chart as well, but outside of this deal, I never saw a reason to book with ANA miles since they hard expire in 36 months, you can’t hold awards while you transfer, and transfers can take a few days – so the award might not be there once the transfer came through.
