For about the last week, if you’ve had the Marriott or SPG apps installed, you have probably been having issues booking awards online. You can see cash rates in the app, but not awards. And you probably figured out you can use the mobile or desktop site to book awards, but why not the app?
Here’s what I get right now searching awards on my SPG app:
Well, this had been frustrating me so I finally experimented and deleted the Marriott (but not SPG app since they are the same) to test something.
When I reinstalled the Marriott app, it all worked again!
Note this is the same exact search.
