transfer bonus

Amex had 30% transfer bonuses on British Airways Avios, Iberia Avios, and Aer Lingus Avios which all expired yesterday.

Today, Chase picks up the ball with the same three offers.

If you haven’t noticed, I don’t discuss transfer bonuses much on MilesTalk since we launched our Transfer Bonus Notifications tool along with a constantly updated and searchable list of transfer bonuses (search by transferable currency or destination program). My assumption is that most of you are subscribed and get these offers, along with my take on each offer, in your inbox as it happens.

If you really, really don’t want to get an email when new bonuses launch or are about to expire, just bookmark this page which lists them all. The most common dates for new bonuses are the 1st and 15th of each month though they do occasionally drop at any time.

For those that haven’t yet subscribed, here are links to my take on each bonus out today:

There is also a bonus from Citi to Etihad, sponsored by Etihad, which I recommend against, as well as a bonus from Citi to Qatar, sponsored by Qatar:

  1. So transferring points from Chase to BA turns them into Avios. Then I can use Avios on Qatar? Or do I have to move them from BA to Qatar first??
