Locals of San Diego and Phoenix will be please with this announcement of two more Chase Sapphire airport lounges opening this year. There will also be a limited time lounge popup at the Aria casino in Las Vegas which is… interesting!

They are:

  • Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) 
    • Opening November 12, 2024 – Terminal 4, South 1 (S1) Concourse 
  • San Diego International Airport (SAN) 
    • Opening December 6, 2024 – Terminal 2

CHASE SAPPHIRE LOUNGE BY THE CLUB at PHOENIX SKY HARBOR 

Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club at PHX is in Terminal 4 South 1 (S1) Concourse. The lounge is highlighted by panoramic views of the tarmac through the lounge’s ribbon window. The new space features a centerpiece bar with craft cocktails and stylish seating within the space as well as its indoor “patio” offering on the airport’s concourse. The lounge also features a retrofitted Airstream food truck featuring a curated menu from local standout Phoenix restaurant, the larder & the delta.

Offerings in the space include Press Coffee, an Arizona-based specialty coffee roaster, and a curated wine list from Parcelle, one of the country’s most renowned wine retailers.

Arizona-based artist Timmy Ham (SLOTH) hand painted the license plates for the space’s Airstream and created a custom design for an exclusive complimentary luggage tag as a complimentary gift to for visiting Reserve cardmembers, made in collaboration with Solgaard. Ham’s designs draw inspiration from the dramatic Southwest landscape. 

CHASE SAPPHIRE LOUNGE BY THE CLUB at SAN DIEGO INTERNATIONAL 

Continuing the Chase Sapphire’s dedication to building spaces reflective of their locale, the forthcoming San Diego lounge offers a unique aesthetic for an airport lounge experience. With surfboards designed by local muralist Hanna Daly and a digital wall which displays drone footage of the remarkable San Diego coastline, travelers will feel right at home in this Southern California-inspired space. 

Located in Terminal 2, the more than 10,000 square-foot space offers a wellness area with bookable private rest pods, on-demand digital meditations fromDevi Brown and facial treatments from Face Haus. Cardmembers will be able to order a la carte from a curated menu by Oscars Mexican Seafood – a local destination for fresh, flavorful San Diego dishes – and coffee selections from California’s Groundwork Coffee. The San Diego lounge will also feature curated wines from Parcelle

CHASE SAPPHIRE RESERVE LOUNGE AT ARIA RESORT & CASINO IN LAS VEGAS 

Opening on November 16, Las Vegas’ ARIA Resort & Casino will host a special limited-time lounge pop-up experience for Chase Sapphire Reserve cardmembers. This new Las Vegas lounge will feature food from celebrated restaurant Momofuku, and cocktails from Los Angeles and New York-based speakeasy, Apotheke

“When we opened our first domestic lounge, we were clear that expanding our footprint and elevating the on-trip experience for our Sapphire Reserve cardmembers was a priority,” said Dana Pouwels, Head of Airport Lounge Benefits at Chase. “Our openings in Phoenix and San Diego, in addition to the expansion of lounge access in locations where our customers live and travel, continues along our goal of delivering this highly sought after benefit.”   

Chase Sapphire Reserve, J.P. Morgan Reserve and The Ritz-Carlton™ Credit Card primary cardmembers and authorized users with their activated their complimentary Priority Pass™ membership have lounge access. Sapphire Reserve and J.P. Morgan Reserve cardmembers may bring up to two guests per Priority Pass Membership card, per visit, for free and additional guests for $27. Ritz-Carlton cardmembers may bring unlimited guests at no charge. There’s no additional charge for children under two.   

Non-Chase Priority Pass Members will be able to use one visit entitlement per calendar year across the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club network in the United States. Thereafter a preferential rate of US$75 per person per visit applies, payable to the lounge upon entry. 


It’s always great to have more Chase lounge options! Wish I hadn’t just spent 8 days in Vegas because I would have loved to have checked out the Aria lounge!
