10%-50% Off BA Avios Award Bookings to/from London
From the BA website:
For a limited time only, you can use 50% fewer Avios to explore the world. Simply book a reward flight in our economy (World Traveller) or premium economy (World Traveller Plus) cabins before 21 November 2019, for travel between 7 November 2019 and 30 April 2020.
Alternatively, for a more premium experience, you can fly in our business (Club World) or First cabins, for 10% fewer Avios.

At first, I was under the impression that this sale was only ex-UK so I hadn’t initially published it beyond the MilesTalk Facebook group.
But it turns out it is available both to AND from London.
Now, hopefully you read my article about how it’s much cheaper to book BA Business Class (and First Class) using Cathay Pacific AsiaMiles. This sale won’t reduce BA’s punitive surcharges at all, but with the price in miles halved, you may well find this the better deal now.
You’d be paying just 45,000 Avios (plus tax surcharges) off-peak and 54,000 Avios peak for Business class.
You must book by Nov 21st – and I’d book sooner than later if you have your eyes on a particular flight – especially a Club Suite!
Remember you can earn Avios from a variety of credit cards:
- Directly from the British Airways Visa Signature Card
- From Credit Cards That Earn Chase Ultimate Rewards Points (1:1 transfer)
- From Credit Cards That Earn American Express (Amex) Membership Rewards Points (1:1 transfer)

New to all of this? The MilesTalk “introduction to miles and points” book, MilesTalk: Live Your Wildest Travel Dreams Using Miles and Points is available on Amazon and at major booksellers.
“You’d be paying just 25,000 Avios (plus tax surcharges) off-peak and 30,000 Avios peak for Business class. Not bad!!”
Um, no…you quoted it yourself at the beginning of the article:
“Alternatively, for a more premium experience, you can fly in our business (Club World) or First cabins, for 10% fewer Avios.”
Discount for J/F is 10%, not 50%.
You could not be more right… Brain spasm 😉 Fixed now, thank you!
