My favorite Rent Days at Bilt Rewards (the 1st of every month) are the ones with tiered transfer bonuses. They don’t happen every month, but when they do you can see some very outsized transfer bonuses to one of more Bilt’s transfer partners. We’ve seen insane bonuses of up to 200% at the Platinum level.
Here is a list of historical Bilt transfer bonuses going back to Feb 2023. (As an aside, I’d forgotten that 100% transfer bonus to Hawaiian in February 2023 – imagine if we’d known about the Alaska merger then!!)

Up to 100% Transfer Bonus from Bilt to Avios
For April 1, 2025, we will see a tiered bonus of up to 100% across three major Avios programs – British Airways, Iberia, and Aer Lingus. Keep in mind that you can transfer between all three programs (plus Finnair and Qatar) so which you pick is not so important.
The bonus will take place April 1 at 12:00 AM ET – April 1 at 11:59 PM PT
Here are the details by Bilt status level:
-
Blue: 50% transfer bonus
-
Silver: 60% transfer bonus
-
Gold: 75% transfer bonus
-
Platinum: 100% transfer bonus
I have worked to maintain Platinum status with Bilt (which they made much harder last year) between the increase in requirements and the removal of Rent Day points for tax payments AND a 1,000 bonus points per month cap on Rent Day. Some might like this for a free ride on Blade each year, though I’ve never used mine. I like these outsized bonuses.
While I personally won’t be taking advantage of this one, both because I rarely find myself using Avios over alternatives and because I’d prefer to save my Bilt points for Hyatt or Alaska given my outsized Amex point balance, I think many of you will.
For my thoughts on each of these Avios programs, I would defer to my commentary on recent transfer bonuses to the same programs from other transferable points:
- Transfer Bonuses to British Airways Avios
- Transfer Bonuses to Iberia Avios
- Transfer Bonuses to Aer Lingus Avios
Double Point Value on Lyft Rides
Already in effect from now through April 1, 2025, is “double value” for points used for Lyft rides. That means instead of getting a very poor 0.7c redemption, you would get 1.4 cents. While I’d still rather use transfer partners, for those that don’t, this is a decent value per point – just still not what you can get with a transfer partner like Hyatt!
