Bilt’s September Rent Day Includes Two Transfer Bonuses and Tickets to One Bite

There’s actually a lot packed in to their announcement and I couldn’t get it all into a title.

Here are the highlights of the September 1, 2024 Rent Day – the last Rent Day which will earn double points on up to 10,000 points (1,000 max from Oct 1 on) and also the last one on which you can earn double points for tax payments. 

Avianca LifeMiles Transfer Bonus

All Bilt members will receive a 50% transfer bonus on September 1, 2024 when they transfer their Bilt points to Avianca LifeMiles. Bilt points can be converted in increments of 1,000. 

The transfer bonus is available only from September 1, 2024 at 12:00am ET to September 2, 2024 at 2:59am ET.  Bilt  is not responsible for flight availability on Avianca or its partners, or any other rewards in the LifeMiles program.

Keep in mind that Avianca just devalued their program.

Virgin Atlantic / Red Tiered Transfer Bonus

Bilt members will receive up to a 100% transfer bonus on September 1st when they transfer their Bilt points to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club or Virgin Red.

Bilt points can be converted in increments of 1,000.* A member’s transfer bonus will be based upon your Bilt Membership Status as of the time you elect to transfer your Bilt points on September 1, 2024, as follows:

Your bonus will be based on your status as of September 1, 2024. Note that Bilt Status updates are reflected up to 96 hours after any earn action. 

*Blue members must transfer a minimum of 2,000 Bilt points. Taxes, fees and carrier-imposed surcharges apply to reward flights and vary according to choice of cabin, departure airport, destination and date(s) of travel and are subject to change. Reward flights are subject to availability. Bilt is not responsible for flight availability on Virgin Atlantic or its partners, or any other rewards available for redemption with Virgin Points.

The transfer bonus is live September 1st, 2024 at 12:00am ET until September 2nd, 2:59am ET. 

Also keep in mind that we have seen both rates for ANA on Virgin increase and the loss of the Delta sweet spot of 50,000 points to Europe using Virgin points on Delta metal. Delta domestic flights can still be a sweet spot as well as flights from Europe to the US – but the program last lost a bit of shine as of late.

Virgin Voyages Limited Edition BOGO

For the second month in a row, Bilt members will be able to participate in the “Buy One Sailor Get Second Sailor 100% Off” offer when they book an eligible Virgin Voyage during the below designated window. Eligible cabins for this offer include Sea Terrace Cabins. 

Additionally, sailings booked during the below designated time window using the Bilt Access Key “VVBILT” will be eligible to receive onboard perks and benefits as follows:

• Unlimited premium wifi
• Two (2) specialty coffees per day
• $100 bar tab credit
• Access to an exclusive cocktail event
• Complimentary laundry
• Priority boarding at embarkation
• Dedicated support
• The window to book and activate benefits is from August 27, 2024 at 12:01am ET to September 2, 2024 at 3:00am ET. All eligible cruises and cabins will be available on a Virgin Voyages landing page accessed from the Bilt Rewards app. All eligible bookings made during the prescribed time window will automatically have benefits applied no later than September 9th. Members will receive an email from Virgin Voyages confirming their benefits have been applied. 

Note: This offer is only applicable when there are a minimum of two people in the cabin, double occupancy.

ResortPass BOGO

Bilt Members will be able to bring a friend on us to a day at the pool or spa at over 1,600 properties via our new partners at ResortPass. Members can select the property they are interested in via the Rent Day experience in the Bilt app or website. From there, members will be sent to the specific property they want to book and a coupon code automatically applied at checkout. 

Applicable to Bilt members who book on September 1, 2024 from 12:00am ET to September 1, 2024 at 11:59pm PT for any visit date in the future. BOGO is only valid on pool chairs, spa passes, and day passes when at least two passes are purchased. Food and beverages are not included in the offer. 

One Bite Pizza Festival Access

Bilt says:

“This Rent Day we are excited to officially partner with Dave Portnoy’s One Bite Pizza Festival and offer Bilt members an exclusive opportunity to secure tickets and access to the Bilt Living Room lounge at the event. 

One Bite takes place on September 14, 2024 on Randall’s Island Park in New York, NY. The festival has two sessions for which Bilt members can purchase tickets: the afternoon session from 12:00pm to 4:00pm and the evening session from 6:30pm to 10:00pm. Tickets for the afternoon session are $180 per person or 6,000 Bilt points. Tickets to the evening session are $150 per person or 5,000 Bilt points. 

Tickets will be available for all members at 12:00pm ET on August 28. Tickets can be purchased using Bilt points or using any card linked to the member’s Bilt account. Tickets can not be purchased using a combination of cash and Bilt points. 

Bilt members can purchase anywhere from one (1) and (6) tickets to One Bite to either Afternoon or Evening, but not to a combination of both. For a booking completed by a redemption of Bilt points, Bilt points will be deducted automatically from your account upon completion of your redemption. For a purchase made with a card, your card will be charged automatically. You will receive confirmation of your reservation by email. A One Bite booking is not considered confirmed until the order is complete and confirmation via email is sent. All One Bite tickets are final sale.

The rest of the Rent Day is standard…. just remember once again that this is the last month of Rent Day before your Rent Day points doubling is capped at just 1,000 points and will exclude tax payments.
