Bonvoy Brilliant Bonus Offer: 100,000 Points + 85k Free Night Certificate
There’s a nice new offer out on the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant™ American Express® Card.
Earn 100,000 bonus Marriott Bonvoy points plus a free night valued up to 85,000 Bonvoy points when you spend $5,000 in your first three months. Terms apply. (Rates and Fees)
Using the 85k certificate wisely, this equates to a 185,000 point value on the bonus or about a $1,100 value based on my 0.6c valuation of a Bonvoy point.
There’s a $450 annual fee offset by a $300 annual credit at Marriott Bonvoy properties. You are also able to downgrade to the $95 Bonvoy Amex after a year if you want (you cannot apply for that card directly.)

- Each year at renewal, you’ll receive a certificate for a free night, up to 50,000 Marriott Bonvoy Points in value.
- You will also earn 15 elite night credits towards status as well as complimentary Marriott Gold status every year. In addition, if you also have a business Bonvoy credit card, you can earn 15 elite nights annually on each card – for a total of 30 per year. That would mean you would need just 20 more for Platinum status, which includes free breakfast and upgrades that include available standard suites at check-in.As well, Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant American Express Card Members can get up to $100 in property credit per stay when they use their Card and a special rate code to book stays of two or more nights at The Ritz-Carlton® or St. Regis® properties.
