Ending: Chase Sapphire Preferred Offer for 100,000 Bonus Points
Just yesterday, I posted that it “seemed” that the highest-ever bonus offer (100,000 points when you spend $4,000 within 3 months) on the Chase Sapphire Preferred “might” end this Weds/Thurs.
This was based off of Google searches that spotted Chase itself advertising 4 days to go on Sunday and 3 days to go today.
I noted that this seemed to indicate the offer should end Wednesday, or maybe Thursday, if accurate.
When I posted an update to this today, Kyle of Thrifty Traveler commented on my Twitter post that he confirmed with Chase that this offer is ending Wednesday. I have no reason to doubt that is true, both because I trust Kyle and because the Google ads really seemed pretty “confirmed” to me anyway…. This was later additionally confirmed by Chase to TPG.
At this point, I would consider it pretty close to a lock that the offer will end sometime on Wednesday, giving you just two days to apply. (Learn how to apply)

Eligibility Criteria
Anyone that does not currently have a Chase Sapphire Reserve or Chase Sapphire Preferred card is eligible as long as they have not received a bonus on a Sapphire series card in the past 48 months (and are not at or over Chase 5/24). If it’s been 48 months but you currently hold the card, you are able to downgrade your Sapphire card to a no-annual fee Chase Freedom Flex or Chase Freedom Unlimited, wait a week or so, and then apply anew – however, it’s too late to do that in this case at this point as you need to wait a couple of weeks for the Chase system to refresh.
100,000 Ultimate Rewards points on the Sapphire Preferred are worth at least $1,250!

Bottom Line
This offer for 100,000 bonus Ultimate Rewards points just for being approved for a new Sapphire Preferred card and spending $4,000 within 3 months has been alive since June 24th, 2021. When used for travel, it’s impossible to get less than $1,250 in value
I don’t think anyone thought this would last more than 1-2 months. I certainly didn’t. Chase left this offer going for a good long while now – over 3 months – and it seems that all good things (like elevated bonus offers!) must come to an end.
If you are eligible, there’s just no other bonus offer I’d consider over this one.
If you are going to apply, the link below supports MilesTalk and, as a smaller site, I can’t tell you how much that support means.
