Each month, Air France / KLM’s Flying Blue program has special promo awards for discounted award flights to/from specific cities.
Once in a while, though, they launch “Special Edition” promo sales that last mere days. Here’s one I reported on last November, for example.
This time, you will have from October 16-20 to book flights within the November 2019 – March 2020 timeframe at extra special rates.

Los Angeles to/from Europe for 14,000 miles in coach, 28,000 in Premium Economy
New York to/from Europe for 11,000 miles in coach
Seattle to/from Europe for 29,000 miles in Premium Economy or 36,000 miles in Business Class
Europe to/from the Seychelles for 38,000 miles in Business Class
Toronto to/from Europe for 32,000 miles in Business Class (or 11,000 miles in coach / 25,000 in Premium Eco).
These can be fantastic bargains for some, though bear in mind that FlyingBlue uses dynamic pricing. Travel beyond Paris and Amsterdam could wind up pricing even less expensively.
For those in NYC like me, a positioning flight up to Toronto could make a lot of sense.
Now, just cross your fingers that we see a transfer bonus in the next couple of days!
