Expiring Hilton Amex Welcome Bonus Offers
These rather incredible offers are expiring today, August 28th. At least the personal ones are, I’m not sure about the Business offer since that is a referral offer. That might kick around longer.
Here’s the offering on the
Hilton Honors Surpass Card from American Express
Get 130,000 extra Hilton Honors points and a free weekend night when you spend $4,000 in your 
first 3 months.
We have seen offers of 150,000 bonus points as well as an offer for 125,000 + $100 statement credit. But if you are like me and you save up your Hilton Honors points for aspirational stays like the Waldorf Astoria Maldives like I do, this is huge.
I’ve personally just plunked down 480,000 points for 5 nights there (in a villa going for $1,500++ a night) and then have a 6th night reserved for 120,000 points which I plan to swap out with a free weekend night certificate I hope to earn from my Hilton Honors American Express Business Card for spending $15,000 in a calendar year. When used that way, you can be getting up to 120,000 points in value for that “free weekend night.” Now, the WA Maldives is the only 120,000 point hotel currently in the system, but a great many are 95,000. So it wouldn’t be a stretch to say you are getting essentially 225,000 points (or, in my one WA Maldives case, 250,000 points) in value from this sign up offer (although, to be clear, it’s 130,000 points and a free weekend night). The card has a $95 annual fee and will confer Gold Status on you – good enough to get you going on the Status Match Merry Go Round.
Anyway, I think it’s a great offer IF you will be able to fully take advantage of that free weekend night within the next year.

Hilton Honors Card from American Express
The fee-free version of this card, the Hilton Honors Card from American Express also has a new and 
elevated welcome bonus.
Where it had been offering 75,000 points, it is now offering the following welcome bonus:
Get 90,000 Hilton Honors Bonus Points when you spend $2,000 in the your first 3 months
While not nearly as amazing, if you haven’t yet had the no-fee version of the card (remember, you can get a welcome bonus on every flavor of Hilton Amex – and there are 4 – 90,000 bonus points isn’t too shabby. By the time you meet the spend requirements, you’ll have just about the 95,000 points you need for a Hilton family hotel stay anywhere in the world, excluding that one 120,000 point Waldorf Astoria Maldives.

Hilton Business Credit Card from American Express
